1. As your Mum always said, put a jumper on! If you’re feeling cold, try putting on an extra layer or two, not the heating!
  2. Are you really going to watch those extra 4 episodes on Netflix at 2am? Keeping your laptops, TV’s or Tablets plugged in and running once you’ve fallen asleep will add up in your bills.
  3. Small house? Check your water rate! If you’re in a small house, it could be worth checking your rate for water to see if it’s worth getting a meter for your property! If you’re in a small house, give us a call or email to see if you’re metered or not.
  4. Prepare your meals for the week! Cooking your meals for the week on a lazy Sunday afternoon is a good way to keep your bills low. Cooking 2 or 3 times a day will soon to add up in your energy bills.
  5. Make things easy for your fridge and freezer! Keeping them full means they don’t have to work as hard and therefore they use less energy. Empty space in your fridge or freezer wastes not only space, but energy too.
  6. Save some time & effort! Take your clothes out of the dryer before they’re completely dry – they’ll iron much quicker and you’ll use less energy on your drier.
